The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will kick off the year by hosting the third FDCP Film Ambassadors’ Night on February 10, 2019 at the Samsung Hall at SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City. This annual event is an evening of celebrating the victories of Filipino films, filmmakers, producers, and artists who received accolades and recognition from international film festivals last 2018.
Huge Filipino Delegation set to Conquer Udine, Italy

PPP4 Spotlight: Ma’ Rosa
In this year’s first-ever online edition of the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will be screening numerous films across 14 different sections. This variety of sections aims to display the diversity of Philippine Cinema and consists of the following: PPP Premium Selection, Classics, PH Oscar Entries, Tribute, Romance, Youth & Family, Genre, Bahaghari, PPP Retro, Documentaries, From the Regions, PPP Short Films, Special Screenings, and CineMarya. To introduce these films, we will be spotlighting various films screening at PPP4 throughout the festival’s run at the FDCP website.

It's official! The Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP)'s third year will be held this 2019 from September 13 to 19 which will mark the official celebration of the One Hundred Years of Philippine Cinema.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 13, 2020 — Since its inception in 2002 by the Instituto Cervantes de Manila, the PELíCULA Spanish Film Festival has become a fixture in the community for screening and introducing Spanish and Latin American Cinema to the Philippines. In addition to these screenings, the festival also regularly holds several events, discussions, and workshops to showcase Spanish culture and further Filipino and Spanish cultural exchange.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 — In order to help the Filipino film industry thrive locally and internationally amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) launched the CreatePHFilms Philippine Cinema funding program to provide funds for Filipino filmmakers in the development, production, and distribution of their films.
