MANILA, PHILIPPINES, DECEMBER 28, 2020 (UPDATED) — The FilmPhilippines Office (FPO) of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will usher in the new year by providing local and international filmmakers with more production opportunities through the FilmPhilippines Incentive Programs.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, DECEMBER 14, 2020 — In order to support partnerships between the Philippines and fellow member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) through its FilmPhilippines Office (FPO) has launched the ASEAN Co-production Fund (ACOF).

One top Pinoy favorite is “Sana Maulit Muli” by Olivia M. Lamasan starring Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga. Released in 1995, the film’s kilig effect has endured the test of time and the Jerry-Agnes tandem continues to elicit the same romance feels from 25 years ago.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, DECEMBER 2, 2020 — On November 24, 2020, the House of Representatives unanimously approved on third and final reading the proposed Eddie Garcia Act or House Bill (HB) No. 7762 that sets occupational safety and health standards to protect the rights of workers in the film, television, and radio entertainment industries.

In this edition of PPP4 Spotlight, we will be covering Jason Paul Laxamana’s latest film, “He Who Is Without Sin.” Originally scheduled to make its premiere at the 2020 edition of the Sinag Maynila Independent Film Festival, Laxamana’s film is now slated as one of the PPP4 Premium Selection films, making its world premiere at the 4th Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) through the partnership between Sinag Maynila and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
