FILMPH Incentives (FLIP) Suspended Under COVID19 Crisis
In its priority realignments for the balance of year 2020 in the light of the current Covid-19 crisis worldwide, the FilmPhilippines Office of the Film Development Council of the Philippines has suspended its Film Location Incentive Program (FLIP) effective April 30, 2020, and until further notice. The previous FLIP applications for its first cycle (complete submissions until April 30th ) will be processed as scheduled.

In November 2019, FilmPhilippines engaged with the international production ALMOST PARADISE, which was filmed entirely in Lapulapu City, Cebu. Due to the current surge of COVID-19 cases in the country, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), through its Safe Filming program, is reminding its stakeholders of the importance of abiding by the safety and health protocols set by the government in the midst of the pandemic and based on the release of IATF Resolution No 104 and placing additional restrictions to the NCR, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, and Bulacan areas from March 22-April 4, 2021.
