MANILA, PHILIPPINES, NOVEMBER 11, 2021 — Metro Manila eases into Alert Level 2 allowing maximum 50% indoor venue capacity for entertainment and recreational establishments from November 5 to November 21, 2021, backed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) issued minimum public health standards and protocols.

Through these channels, Filipino movies are given another chance to be understood from the lenses of a different culture or belief. But while film markets significantly cater to buying and selling finished films, films in development have their space in the market, too.
Highlights: Philippine Film Industry Month 2021
President Rodrigo Duterte declared the month of September as the Philippine Film Industry Month through Presidential Proclamation 1085 last February 3, 2021. With the theme "Ngayon Ang Bagong Sinemula," the Film Development Council of the Philippines, as the lead agency in the celebration, launched an array of projects and programs to further support the film industry stakeholders, and to promote Filipino films here and abroad.
