The Film Development Council of the Philippines' (FDCP) FilmPhilippines Office and UniPhilippines are proudly participating at the American Film Market (AFM) 2021 from November 1-5, 2021. As part of the AFM, the FDCP, through its FilmPhilippines Office, held a panel discussion about the opportunities available for international partnerships with the Philippines.

The event titled "It's More Fun to Film in the Philippines," moderated by journalist and film festival consultant Wendy Mitchell, was held yesterday, November 1. The panel was composed of FDCP Chairperson and CEO Liza Diño, Philippine Film Studios, Inc. Executive Producer Jun Juban, Director Pedring Lopez of Counterplay, writer and producer Scott Rosenfelt, and Electric Entertainment's producer Francis Dela Torre.

Through the AFM, the participants can discover an entire catalogue of films and projects, attend 30+ world class conferences, panels discussions and workshops, and connect with the independent film community’s decision makers to extend their networks. FDCP has been participating in the AFM since 2016.
