Project Development Officer

UNIT / PROGRAM: Education Division - International Film Lab  STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)


PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise the Division’s film labs and conference programs, including special partnership projects.
  • Work closely with PDO III to coordinate the overall program process, from conceptualization, execution, and promotions.
  • Report to Education Head and Management for regular update and report concerns, and high-level approvals.
  • Work with the agency’s Digital Communications and Productions and external partners to develop and plan marketing and communication strategies to promote the program to stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of international best practices related to the programs.
  • Periodically evaluate and create recommendations on the programs based on the existing guidelines and practices.
  • Assist in coordination and preparation efforts for the events and executions relating to the OED’s projects and events.
  • Review/draft contracts, memoranda, office orders, and other corporate documents
  • Perform research and interviews on project proposals and events as needed.
  • Draft communications and report as needed.
  • Maintains files and records of all program matters and documents.
  • Willing to travel abroad
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned occasionally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably College of Liberal Arts - Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Organizational Communication
  • Has the following skills: Communication, Creative Problem Solving, Critical Thinking , Interpersonal Skills, Technical Writing, Written Communication, Strict attention to detail
  • Computer Literate in Adobe, Canva, and Microsoft programs.
  • Capacity to oversee program development, manage projects, grants, and proposals, programs align with the FDCP’s goals and mission statement.
  • Able to work closely with other managers, stakeholders, and financial supporters. They develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to budgets, including reviewing and executing grant proposals.
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships and relationships that interact with other organizations and stakeholders.
